Sky Dine, Inc. is a fast-growing and innovative company specializing in the food and beverage retail industry. Sky Dine is based in Sioux Falls and operates several dining establishments throughout the nation.

Position Summary

Sky Dine, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Administrator to support our growing company. In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of the company by overseeing the efficient functioning of our POS, credit card, and gift card systems. You will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our IT infrastructure, as well as assisting with the implementation of new technologies that aim to enhance our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor POS, credit card, gift card system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime and prevent disruptions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and SOPs
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
• Manage and prioritize technical support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our IT infrastructure
• Assist with software and hardware installations and upgrades
• Work closely with third-party vendors and service providers to support IT infrastructure
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Assist with basic web design, graphic design and photo editing for marketing purposes
• Maintain digital menu boards and manage menu printing
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, to provide technical support and contribute to the successful execution of projects
• Develop and maintain auditing processes for banking/ATM procedures and deposit and cash procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT administration or a similar role
• Restaurant or food service experience is helpful
• Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, firewalls, and security systems
• Proficiency in Windows
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to be on call after hours and some travel required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus
