Director- Advanced Technology

The Diversified Analog Solution (DAS) Busines Unit is hiring!

The Diversified Analog Solution (DAS) BU covers a large variety of established and emerging market segments, including WiFi, Automotive, IoT, and Infrastructure. As a leader in the Advance Technology team of DAS BU, this role will lead the planning and execution of the packaging technology roadmap, within and across BUs. We need talented leaders to define the technology for the future!

Job Responsibilities:

• This position will be the center point of the packaging development and represents the BU at the company level.
• The person will collaborate with all leaders in the BU to define the packaging roadmap. Then he/she will partner with other BUs and advance the packaging and assembly technology for Skyworks.
• It's a perfect role if you are looking for a balance of technical and strategic challenges.

The position can be in based in Boston, Irvine or Ottawa.

Qualifications: 

• Strong communication skills
• Technology planning and development experience
• Broad knowledge of analog and RF product
• In-depth experience assembly and module design, ranging from highly integrated SiP, to high power base station power amplifiers.
• Strong semiconductor knowledge is a plus.
• Master Degree with minimum of 10 yrs. of semiconductor industry experience

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $163,800 - $324,900per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
