As the Respite Case Manager , you will have the opportunity to creatively develop a therapeutic environment for the Crisis Respite Program. The Respite Case Manager works closely with agency staff as well as community stakeholders to coordinate respite services to individuals in crisis. This position performs the following services: Person filling this position will also be involved in the community by taking clients to shelters, food pantries, food stamp offices and other community settings.

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network is a community health facility in Central Texas providing services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders. We serve McLennan, Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, and Limestone counties.

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network strives to develop and equip all staff with Trauma-Informed Care knowledge and competency-based skills. Trauma-Informed Care means treating the person as a whole, taking into account past trauma and the resulting coping mechanisms when attempting to understand behaviors. Salary: $45,000 - $49,500 for Bachelors level / $48,150-$52,965 for Masters level DOE

Qualified and verified years of experience may result in an increased starting rate of pay.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in a Human Service Field required

Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network offers clinical supervision (based on supervisor availability) for MSW's, LPC-Associates, etc.

Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network is a qualified local government entity that may qualify employees for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Plan (subject to certain requirements and guidelines being met by the employee based on this government program).
