Job Description:
A prominent New York-based personal injury law firm is seeking a Bilingual Personal Injury Attorney to join our dedicated team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned legal professional who is passionate about providing robust legal representation to individuals who have suffered due to negligence or carelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases.
- Offer legal advice and representation to clients in personal injury matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and remain up-to-date with the latest legal precedents.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and counsel.
- Prepare and present cases in court.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
- Uphold the highest standards of legal service and client care.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of law and legal procedures, particularly in personal injury law.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience practicing law in a personal injury law firm.
- Experience with trial preparation and litigation is highly desirable.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
