Job description
Genesis10 is seeking a Title: Software Engineer III for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote.
Work with Clinical Review Product Team(s) on electronic Prior Authorization transaction set.
Interaction level with Management/Team Members:
Daily interactions with Product Team (Scrum Master, Product Owners, Analysts, Engineers, QA)
Bi-weekly meetings with Manager
Skills Overview:
Qualifications/years of experience:
8+ years designing and developing APIs
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain technology solutions and ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements
Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
Use test driven development in an agile environment
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline for technology solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with team members to achieve innovative, business-results driven technology solutions
Consistently apply best practices and drive for continuous improvement
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
Other duties as assigned
Must Haves:
Independently developed SOAP and REST APIs
Data Mapping and Data Modeling experience
Ability to complete analysis (not just heads-down development); work with Product Owners to help clarify requirements for solution
Technology Requirements:
Java
Jenkins and Bitbucket (or similar)
SQL
Willingness to learn WS02
Kafka
Additional Requirements: Experience in Agile
Experience working with Middleware for API implementation and integration
Ability to advise on API designs and solutions, including determining if API should be created in Java vs WS02
Ability to work with Junior level Java developers; consult, mentor as needed
Review APIs (developed by a separate team) for intake and ownership into Clinical team
Soft Skills Needed: Proactively identifies work needs, risks and planning to reduce potential blockers
High engagement with Product Team
Highly collaborative team member
