Job description

Job Profile Summary Under general direction, this position provides leadership and oversight in managing the facilities planning activities. Responsible for the collection, analysis of facility data, establishing and evaluating space standards and policies, space assessment and allocation, and project planning and management in support of the short and long term needs of the Facilities Division.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, construction management or related field. Minimum Experience/Training: Ten years in facilities planning or function field, including five years in management. Minimum Certification/Licenses: Knowledge of Florida’s Building Code. SREF State Requirement for Educational Facilities application and experienced required. Department of Education Capital Improvement Plan and Plant Survey knowledge preferred.
