Job description

The Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an Advance Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to join our team of 4 Physicians and an APRN. Although prior Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Gastroenterology is preferred, our practice is willing to train and mentor the right candidate to join our team. Relocation assistance available to those who qualify. Our department is a highly collaborative and supportive practice environment where you will be trained to provide independent evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to a broad range of patients with digestive health issues, including those of the stomach and esophagus, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Our practice is also a high utilizer of telemedicine to allow for patient and provider flexibility. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to patient-centered care, proficiency with Epic EMR and the ability to practice both independently and as part of a team are essential. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene is a 240 - physician and associate provider, multi-specialty community practice associated with the teaching hospital, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and the Geisel school of Medicine. The Clinic is a nationally recognized leader in population health and is a diverse group of professionals committed to quality and patient safety, continuous process improvement, integrative medicine and value-based care. Cheshire Medical Center is a 169 bed, Level III community hospital affiliated with Dartmouth Health that supports a 10-bed ICU and an on-site rehabilitation unit. It is only the 14th hospital ever to be named an American Hospital Association Living the Vision awardee (2013) and is both the 2010 New Hampshire Healthcare Business of the Decade and 2014 New Hampshire Healthcare Business of the Year. Cheshire Medical Center will be starting a new family practice residency program starting academic year 2024-2025. The community of Keene is a picturesque, college-town in the Monadnock Region of Southwestern New Hampshire. New Hampshire has no state income or sales taxes.
