Job description
Kumon Math & Reading Center Of Madison in Madison, MS is looking for a center assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities
- Assist, guide, and support students according to the Kumon principles
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing student learning plans
- Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Engage & communicate with Instructor regarding student performance
- Grade student work & maintain student records
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficient in Math & Reading (Assessment will be required)
- Ability to remain patient and positive with students
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

Our Ideal Candidate will also:
- Be able to work at least two out of the four scheduled class days (Sundays- 8:55a-1p, Mondays-2:55-6p, Wednesdays-2:55-7p, or Thursdays-2:55-6p). Preference to those who are available to work more than two days per week.

- Be capable of multitasking
- Be great with following directions with minimal supervision
