This position is a technical authority and possesses specialized skills and knowledge to handle the challenges and complexities of project Quality activities. This role oversees technical Quality (i.e., adherence to client, regulatory agency, and company requirements), is involved in Integrated Quality leadership across all Quality disciplines, performs administrative functions (i.e., budgeting, forecasting, staffing, etc.), and helps to maintain harmonious client relations through direct interaction.
• Communicate effectively at all levels and contribute ideas that stimulate positive direction of project personnel.
• Employ decision-making authority and recommendations that have a significant impact on project or business line Quality policies and programs
• Manages a multi disciplined organization in developing Inspection documents in accordance with established codes, standards, and specifications.
• Provide technical and general supervision and administrative direction to direct reports
• Assist in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-four (24) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
• Advanced degree in engineering discipline/technical field, or administration area preferred
• Twenty (20) years' experience in various Quality Control disciplines, mechanical, piping, electrical, Instrument and Calibration, and Civil.
• Previous ANSI N45.2.6 Level III certification in multiple inspection disciplines.
• Twenty (20) years of related Quality/project experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good leadership and decision-making skills

Other Job Requirements

• US Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance if required.
• Working knowledge of 10CFR50 App B, 10CFR830, DOE 414.1B, ASME NQA-1.
• General knowledge of other Codes and Standards such as AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, ACI, etc.
• Previous experience in Quality Control discipline inspection activities.
• Evaluate and resolve client complaints or conditions adverse to quality in the responsible functional area.
