Job description
LTC Language Solutions is seeking a cross-cultural trainer for a family of five from Mexico. We are a language service provider specializing in language and cultural training for relocating expat families. Please review the program details below:
- Program: Cross-cultural training (CCT) about life in North Carolina, to be conducted in English. The family is relocating to the U.S. due to the father’s job with a pharmaceutical company. Kids range in age from 11 to 18 years old.
- Location: Trainer can select a convenient public location in the Raleigh area.
- Start: February 2024
- Schedule: TBD, family will be arriving in mid-January; training is usually done in 2-4 hour sessions on the weekend.
- Contract Duration: Up to 8 hours total
- Requirements : A university degree and 2+ years of teaching experience. Compensation: Negotiable
- Curriculum: To be designed by the teacher based on student needs. They may want help with practical matters like shopping, dining, and transportation, as well as an understanding of local history and politics. Our cultural trainers often take students out to places of interest.
