Qualifications:

- Graduated from a two or four-year Respiratory Care Program (preference for CoARC accreditation).
- Hold certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN or hold a temporary RT permit.
- Possess a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card (can be obtained upon hire).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of hire.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Therapist at our facility, your role is pivotal in delivering top-notch care. Your responsibilities encompass:

- Conducting patient assessments and crafting tailored respiratory care plans.
- Administering treatments and therapies, including aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans as needed.
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory health management.
- Maintaining precise patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
