In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our daily and monthly accounting processes, maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, and providing invaluable support with client invoicing. **Responsibilities:**
- Uphold the integrity of our financial records by meticulously recording, verifying, and entering transactions.
- Compile and analyze account information to prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts, resolving any discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy in our general ledger through the transfer of subsidiary accounts and meticulous reconciliation of entries.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant reports.
- Facilitate payroll processing by initiating computer procedures and verifying the accuracy of the final output.
- Assist with external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing necessary information to auditors.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements to mitigate any potential legal challenges.
- Safeguard financial information by performing regular database backups and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Uphold the organization's value by ensuring the security and confidentiality of financial data.
**Qualifications / Skills:**
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of SFAS rules and regulations.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Thoroughness and precision in all tasks.
- Familiarity with corporate finance and financial software.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
**Education, Experience, and Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities under different umbrellas.
- Familiarity with financial reporting requirements.
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Compensation:** $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
