The department's objectives are offering Computer Science programs at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
About the Position:
The Graduate Program Specialist provides advising support to Computer Science (CS) graduate students and associated administrative support for graduate programs of the CS department. This position serves as an advisor to graduate students enrolled in PhD programs of the CS department, interacts with other university departments to assist students and faculty to resolve problems, expedites routine paperwork or electronic submissions for processing and/or problem solving, supports admissions processes for PhD programs, and responds to inquiries from prospective students and visitors regarding academic programs. The incumbent represents the department in a professional manner and acts as a source regarding the university and department's rules and regulations, and policies and procedures.
This position is required to work occasional evening and weekend hours for orientation and admissions events.Responsibilities:

The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at George Mason University is a fast-growing force for innovation in research and education.
