**Position Overview:**
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for a pivotal role within our Services and Customer Care teams. As a valued business partner, you will play a strategic role in advising leaders, leveraging data insights to drive informed decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will encompass managing data, conducting thorough reporting and analysis, as well as facilitating capacity planning and utilization assessments. Additionally, you will oversee month-end close activities, quarterly forecasting, budget preparation, and the dissemination of vital management and financial reports.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Month End Activities and Cost Center Management:**
- Ensure the accuracy of cost center expenses at the close of each month.
- Review monthly payroll and reconcile it with budgeted or forecasted headcount.
- Collaborate with HR to address any discrepancies and changes in cost centers.
- Conduct detailed analysis of expenses, identifying variances against budget and forecast.
- Facilitate adjustments and journal entries as necessary to correct misallocations.
- Monitor purchase card transactions and leased vehicle expenses.
**Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Partner with Services and Customer Care management to develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Responsible for reconciling and accounting for approved headcount within budget and forecast parameters.
- Generate necessary documentation and reports to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
**Reporting:**
- Prepare and analyze travel & entertainment and office spending reports, identifying trends and patterns.
- Conduct detailed analysis of headcount movements and trends, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
- Generate utilization reports and collaborate with cost center managers to identify key insights and trends.
- Produce ad-hoc reports to support specific business initiatives or projects.
**Business Partnering:**
- Address general inquiries from cost center managers or administrators by conducting research and analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with HR and managers to ensure accuracy in headcount data and reporting.
**Requirements:**
- 1-2 years of relevant FP&A experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts effectively.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel; willingness to learn new ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
