Schedule: Full Time 3/12 Hour Shifts; 6pm-6:30am, with no on-call requirements. All staff are required to work one summer and one winter holiday.

Unit Highlights:
Our team works closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide an individualized care plan for each patient. Respiratory therapy aims to improve patient outcomes, reduce complications, prevent ICU admissions and prevent hospital readmissions post discharge.
We have two educators for multiple hospitals in the Rocky Mountain region. Providing quality care is our priority.
We care for ventilated and tracheostomy patients. Evaluate and provide medications, CPT, and non-invasive therapy. Attend all code blue, rapid response, traumas and deliveries for high-risk babies.
With staffing counts based on AARC guidelines, we aim to staff a minimum of 3 respiratory therapists 24/7 and will upstaff accordingly if the count increases. We provide opportunities to pick up shifts at your home hospital as well as other AdventHealth locations in the Rocky Mountains Region when additional staff help is needed.
We are a Level 2 trauma and a level 3 NICU. All RTs are trained and responsible for all units in the hospital, including the ED, ICU, and NICU.

AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care. Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center. In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital. In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.

The role you’ll contribute:
Perform respiratory procedures under physician direction in all patient areas. Responsible for patient assessments, care plans, plan implementation and evaluation and revision of therapy plan as needed. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure the most effective and efficient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. Supports the organization vision and mission and practices performance improvement techniques to assure the delivery of the most effective patient care.
