Salesforce Marketing Cloud QA

We are looking to add a Salesforce Marketing Cloud QA to automate end-to-end campaign testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in writing scripts to automate SFMC campaigns, encompassing Email, Mobile Push, Personalization, Complex Journeys, SSJq, Ampscript, API callouts, and other SFMC components. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of SFMC functionalities and be proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to automation scripts. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
- Design and implement automated testing scripts to validate the functionality of SFMC components such as Journey Builder, Cloud pages, APIs, Automation Studio and data integrity in data extensions.
- Develop scripts to automate the setup and cleanup of test data in SFMC.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of SFMC campaigns to ensure accurate audience targeting, email deliverability, tracking and monitoring.
- Execute both manual and automated testing processes to validate SFMC configurations testing for end-to-end campaign execution.
- Perform regression testing to validate the stability of existing SFMC configurations and components after updates or changes.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
- Identify, report, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices within the SFMC domain.
- Collaborate closely with the development and Product team to understand project requirements and write testing scripts to automate testing.
- Stay up to date with the latest SFMC features, updates, and industry best practices.
“MUST HAVE” SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Must have 4-5 years of hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium and tools such as Postman for API testing.
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and components
- Must have 4-5 years of experience with SQL for querying and validating data in SFMC databases.
- Evaluate the performance of emails, landing pages, journeys, and automation tools under bulk and load testing.
- Must have 4-5 years of develop automation scripts to validate dynamic content for different audience segments and ensure that dynamic content within emails or landing pages displays correctly.
- Must have 4-5 years of process automation of setting up and running A/B tests to streamline the testing workflow.
- Integrate SFMC testing into your CI/CD pipeline to automate the testing process as part of the development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git to manage test scripts and ensure version consistency.
- Experience working with JIRA or similar work tracking tools.
