Job description

We are a Civil Engineering Company that provides our clients with structural engineering solutions. We're currently seeking an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer who wants to advance their career as our full-time Assistant Project Manager. While overseeing various structural engineering projects from start to finish, our Assistant Project Manager leads a team of one to three staff members.

Who You Are: 

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T) in CA (Preferred) 
• 3+ Years of Structural Engineering Design experience
• Management experience
• Experience performing structural engineering calculations for commercial, education, and/or solar
• AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D experience
• Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe

As an Assistant Project Manager, you are excited to come to work each day to lead your team of Civil Engineers or Structural Engineers and Drafters to success. Because you are a great leader, you know how to motivate your team and utilize their skills to successfully complete projects. You produce structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details in an accurate and timely manner. Your understanding of contractual language assists you as you review project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contract documents.
