Job description

The Asst.Manager- Table Games is responsible for developing an environment that creates excitement for guests and team members, promoting and retaining a highly skilled work force. Responsible for actively building relationships with players and acts as a mentor to team members to build their player development skills; provides career development and direction for team members. Manages staff and resources, related to Table Games Operations, on an assigned shift ensuring compliance with established regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Oversee and supervise table games on the casino floor and ensures their smooth operation.
  2. Assist in the daily operation of the casino.
  3. Create and implements strategies to increase revenue.
  4. Opening and closing gaming tables.
  5. Assure games run properly and according to the policies of the casino.
  6. Assure that regulations and procedures of the games are being followed.
  7. Periodically scheduled in floor or relief positions.
  8. Perform Shift manager responsibilities as needed.
  9. Manage daily labor to open and close games as needed.
  10. Perform team member evaluations.
  11. Carrie out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  12. Keep track of guest ratings.
  13. Issue markers for Table Games players.
  14. Issue comps to guest.
  15. Supervise dealers to ensure they are dealing properly and not making mistakes and ensure game protection.
  16. Solve guest problems and complaints.
  17. Perform table fills and credits.
  18. Settle disputes between players and casino employees.
  19. Insure adherence to all IGC gaming regulations and statues.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  1. Attend seminars when needed.

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years as a Floor Supervisor in a casino.
