Nicewonder Farm and Vineyards is located in Bristol, VA and is nestled among its 450+ acres of rolling hills. The farm features an award-winning winery, a Tasting Room, elevated Appalachian cuisine at Hickory, Fine Dining, and a luxury boutique Inn and Yurts.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Line Cook. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, executing menu items to order, cleaning and sanitizing work stations, and assisting with inventory management and ordering.

• Culinary training or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
• Ability to follow recipes and execute menu items to order
• Experience with using various cooking equipment (e.g. grills, ovens, fryers, etc.)
• Physical endurance and ability to stand for long periods of time
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with inventory management and ordering is a plus
• Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with farm-to-table cuisine, experience working in fine dining restaurants, and creativity in developing and executing menu items.
