Job description

Job Summary Touching Hearts at Home Omaha is looking to hire a Companion Care Sitter to work 7am-noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Council Bluffs, IA. The position is a part-time, hourly Healthcare/Medical job and the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the safe, comfortable, and compassionate care of our clients. Compensation This position will have a competitive pay rate commensurate with experience. Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support to elderly clients
• Encourage client engagement in activities
• Accompany client to appointments and doctor visits
• Assist with light housekeeping duties, grocery, shopping trips, and errands
• Provide medication reminders
• Attend to basic needs, such as meals, hydration, and personal hygiene
• Help complete other tasks as assigned by the client or management

Requirements

• At least 19 years of age
• Experience as a companion caregiver
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
