As our biotech client is hiring for their Protein Sciences group, we are seeking an outstanding Senior Protein Purification Scientist to design plasmids, create constructs, assist with scale up, and transfer protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead protein purification efforts, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
2. Design and execute purification protocols for recombinant proteins.
3. Supervise and mentor junior lab personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
4. Adapt and implement new purification technologies and methodologies to enhance lab capabilities.
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting data and collaborating across teams.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years of postdoctoral experience in a biochemistry lab, with a strong emphasis on protein purification.
- Candidates with experience from academic, government (eg, NIH), or industry labs are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in various protein purification techniques and familiarity with analytical methods for protein characterization.
Additional Points:
--This is a full time position and the title can be Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Principal Scientist.
--Title and salary (including base plus annual bonus) are commensurate with experience, and relocation is provided.
