Job Title: Accountant (on-Site)
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Pay Rate: $26-$30 per hour
Type: Contract to Hire / Part Time (20-30 hours weekly)
Job Description:
Sabio Systems if seeking a part-time Accountant to join our client on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for financial tasks including forecasting, budgeting, funding, and creating spending plans. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, and have a strong understanding of finance principles. Experience with Google Suite is also preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a non-profit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions and records
- Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis
- Assist in the development of funding proposals and budgets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure financial goals are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and funding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
