Responsibilities
The Career :
- Our district office will provide comprehensive training, ongoing mentorship, and dedicated support throughout your entire career at Farmers Insurance
- As an independent contractor, Farmers Agents are in business for themselves but not by themselves
- Offering a highly competitive commission structure with lucrative renewal commissions and unmatched bonus incentives
- Ability to diversify their income through their portfolio beyond property, casualty, life and health lines of business
- Step into an established office and book of business, yet build your own team to represent your agency brand
- Meanwhile, having the flexibility to manage your own schedule to create a career/life balance
- We help teach Agency Owners how to take a consultative approach when it comes to growing business with prospective and existing clients.

Requirements
Successful Farmers Insurance Agency Owners are never the same, but they all demonstrate the following :
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and goal driven
- Interest in or have prior - sales experience, customer service, or management
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Community engaged
- Strong business acumen and communication skills
- Passionate about making a positive impact within their community
To comply with industry regulations, candidates must meet the following criteria :
- Willingness to work toward and obtain Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance licenses within the state of Illinois (We help guide you along the way in this process)
- These licenses are not a requirement when applying, though the selected candidate will need to obtain these licenses prior to a contract being initiated.
