Responsibilities

Summary:

The Process Excellence Manager reports to the Director of Order Management and is responsible for leading strategic process improvement initiatives within Order Management. In this role, the Process Excellence Manager focuses on adding efficiency and effectiveness to day-to-day procedures that Order Management associates rely on. The Process Excellence Manager should be proficient in basic lean methodologies (problem solving, 6s, 8 wastes, standard work, etc.) and possess basic understanding of Supply Chain methodologies, best practices, and trends. Long term, the Process Excellence Manager will eventually be responsible for a group of personnel comprised of supervisors, customer service representatives and service coordinators.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Engage with process owners, customers, and stakeholders to understand and map current state
• Identify current state opportunities for improvement and quantify business benefits
• Prioritize process improvement opportunities and develop business case justifications
• Facilitate problem solving sessions with internal/external team members
• Formulate action plans and lead execution with key stakeholders, prepare detailed change management documentations
• Present and implement solutions, partnering with Training Manager on documenting changes and updating training
• Continuously monitor implemented solutions for effectiveness, measuring and reporting out on results, modifying solutions if needed
• Collaborate with leaders to drive improvement while coaching associates on the improvement tools
• Develop streamlined workflows that optimize capabilities and utilizes resources effectively
• Cultivate continuous improvement and problem-solving culture to correct process gaps and inefficiencies
• Routinely review process infrastructure and participate in cross functional projects as needed

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably within Supply Chain
• In depth knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools, Lean Six Sigma methodology and Project Management
