Job Description:
Position Overview We are actively seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team in an entry-level accounting role within the vibrant agriculture industry. As a key member, you will play an essential part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting processes, contributing directly to the success of our agricultural operations.
Key Responsibilities Agricultural Financial Precision - Input and manage contracts with precision, creating organized folders to ensure systematic record-keeping specific to the agriculture sector.
- Guarantee the accuracy of files and documents related to production, showcasing your understanding of the unique financial landscape in agriculture.
Invoicing and Financial Transactions in Agriculture - Assist in the invoicing process, demonstrating your attention to detail in agricultural financial transactions.
- Contribute to collections and payments procedures tailored to the agricultural context, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of funds within our agribusiness.
Customer Support - Manage and address customer inquiries related to agricultural shipments, demonstrating your ability to navigate and resolve issues within the rural community.
Agricultural Financial Document Management - Review receivables and payables specific to the agriculture industry, identifying items requiring additional documentation for complete processing.
- Initiate proactive communication to obtain necessary paperwork, showcasing your dedication to maintaining thorough financial records in the agricultural sector
What is expected of you and others at this level - Has developed knowledge and skills through job related training or considerable experience
- Often entry level for those with work experience in relevant areas
- Works within established procedure with a moderate degree of supervision
- Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations; assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Minimum Qualifications & Skills - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1-3 years' relevant experience required
