Position Overview: We are currently seeking a versatile and motivated Premium Vision Services Coordinator to join our team. As the Premium Vision Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in guiding patients through the process of selecting and receiving premium vision correction procedures, ensuring they receive comprehensive information, support, and exceptional service from consultation to post-operative care.
Responsibilities:
Educate patients on the various options available, including premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), LASIK, and other refractive surgeries, explaining the risks, benefits, and expectations associated with each procedure
Assist patients in making informed decisions regarding the most suitable treatment option based on their lifestyle, visual goals, and ocular health
Coordinate scheduling of pre-operative evaluations and surgical procedures for premium vision correction, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery
Provide pre-operative instructions and support to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have and helping to alleviate any apprehensions about the procedure
Collaborate closely with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure seamless coordination of premium vision correction procedures, facilitating effective communication and patient care
Offer post-operative care instructions and follow-up support to patients to optimize visual outcomes, ensure satisfaction, and address any post-operative concerns or complications
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to premium vision correction consultations and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols
Qualifications:
Previous experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or refractive surgery coordination preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively
Empathy and compassion towards patients, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care and support throughout their treatment journey
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to accurately document patient information and navigate digital healthcare platforms
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on advancements in vision correction technologies and procedures, with a commitment to professional development and ongoing education
