Your mission at LINDAL
We are seeking a skilled IT and Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems, servers, networks, and software applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure, as well as proficiency in managing traditional on-premises systems. The IT and Cloud Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, while also contributing to ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing our technology stack.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions on platforms.
- Configure and optimize resources to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
- Implement best practices for IT architecture, including fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Monitor IT environments and proactively address issues related to performance, security, and compliance.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security controls to protect IT environments and data, including access management, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay updated on security trends and emerging threats and recommend measures to enhance IT security posture.
- Technical Support:
- Provide 1 st and 2 nd level technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to clients (Laptops, PCs), IT services, networking, server infrastructure, and software applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and knowledge transfer on IT technologies and best practices.
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions and architectures.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, technical issues, and recommendations for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
- Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
- Participate in the planning and execution of technology initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure and capabilities.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or state-certified IT technician, certified IT administrator or comparable knowledge based on qualified training or experience.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions, with expertise in platforms such as Azure,
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products such as Exchange, Office365, Microsoft Server
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles, with the ability to design and implement secure and scalable cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure S olutions Architect) are a plus.
PAY: $83,000-$87,000
