Job description

Your mission at LINDAL

We are seeking a skilled IT and Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems, servers, networks, and software applications. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing platforms, such as Azure, as well as proficiency in managing traditional on-premises systems. The IT and Cloud Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, while also contributing to ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing our technology stack.

 

  1. Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions on platforms.
    • Configure and optimize resources to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
    • Implement best practices for IT architecture, including fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
    • Monitor IT environments and proactively address issues related to performance, security, and compliance.
  2. Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security controls to protect IT environments and data, including access management, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations.
    • Stay updated on security trends and emerging threats and recommend measures to enhance IT security posture.
  3. Technical Support:
    • Provide 1 st and 2 nd level technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to clients (Laptops, PCs), IT services, networking, server infrastructure, and software applications.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and knowledge transfer on IT technologies and best practices.
  4. Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions and architectures.
    • Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, technical issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity.
    • Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
    • Participate in the planning and execution of technology initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization's IT infrastructure and capabilities.
