Job description

We are looking to add a new Shop Supervisor on the
Monday – Friday schedule. This role will be responsible for management and maintenance orders of our on-site diesel mechanic shop.
Responsibilities: · Create work orders and analyze the service que for priority
· Track and schedule upcoming service or repairs of trucks and trailers
· Manage inventory and new part ordering
· Accounts payable and receivable
· Data entry
· Establish operating goals and needs to increase the efficiencies of the shop
· Communicate directly with mechanics and inform them of the upcoming service agenda
· Organization and maintenance of daily paperwork for all truck and trailer services
· Oversee asset maintenance and warranty processing
· Assist in McDonald Companies safety initiatives and administrative support
· Monitors employees’ work, reviews work performance, and coaches employees for a successful outcome.
· Calculates actual costs including parts, labor, and other fees, and closes work orders for completed work.
· Maintains inventory of shared tools, supplies, and reference materials in the shop and orders additional items as needed.
· Administrative and office support as needed
· All other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications and Requirements: · High School Diploma required
· 3+ years in a similar office role
· TMT/ Trimble experience is a plus
· Billing, accounting, accounts receivable experience preferred
· Proven experience in a technical role preferred
· Proficient in MS Office Suite
· Organized with a high attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Ability to identify with different industries, types of individuals and maintain professionalism
