Pay Grade/Pay Range:  $16.63 - $23.27 (Hourly N3)

Department/Organization: 212701 - Special Ed and Multiple Abilities

Normal Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary:  The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs routine and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.

Additional Department Summary:  Provides customer service to visitors. Answers phone calls. Maintains database on students. Maintains file structure regarding admissions, stage exams, and notice of program completion. Coordinates department work with other offices. Schedules classes with the direction of the Department Head to include registration permits and course overrides and maintenance of TEAS reports each term.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or GED.
