Job description
Deep Origin, a visionary venture shaping the future of life sciences, is seeking a talented Product Manager to lead our bioinformatics software products.
At Deep Origin, we are accelerating drug discovery by developing an integrated ecosystem of life science technology tools from hypothesis to insight. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the development of our bioinformatics software products, which will enable researchers to leverage advanced computational techniques and powerful hardware to extract actionable insights from increasingly complex and heterogeneous data. Furthermore, you will work with our product management team to develop an integrated platform that drives discovery by seamlessly connecting data analysis with experimental design and data generation.
Requirements
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience and knowledge in bioinformatics, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the field.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to develop transformative solutions to long-standing problems.
- Ability to take products from 0 to 1, from idea to customers.
- Strong familiarity with customer needs, buying behaviors, industry players, and emerging trends.
- Ability to conduct market research and collect and synthesize customer feedback to establish product-market fit.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Ability to recruit initial customers, onboard them, and ensure their success.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide engineering teams through effective communication, clear documentation, and agile methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with additional product managers to create an integrated suite of products.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products to market, including to market products and develop processes for sales and customer support.
Nice to haves
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in product management.
