ABOUT THE POSITION


The grant management specialist is expected to lead Normandale's post-award grant management activities, which includes an array of services provided after a sponsor makes an award. This position ensures that grant-funded projects maintain compliance with federal and state rules and regulations as well as Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and Normandale policies and procedures. The grant management specialist is the key point of contact for project directors (PDs) and principal investigators (PIs) regarding all aspects of grant management, providing technical assistance and training to ensure that grant-funded projects are implemented as proposed or that proper channels are followed to modify projects as needed.

This position will actively advance the college's strategic goals, by supporting efforts to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
