Job Description
Key Position Responsibilities:
- Receive and review new business inquiries from prospective clients provided through web forms; email and telephone.
- Record inquiry and prospective client information in pertinent systems
- Follow up on assigned leads by email and phone including determination of service needs and provision of quotations
- Forward applicable leads to Strategic Accounts or Sales Supervisor for follow-up and resolution, if non-transactional
- Work with operations on coordination of new sales and revision of existing sales
- Follow Eurofins policies and procedures
- Promote and provide consistent high-quality customer service
- Report on KPI’s as they relate to open and closed sales, leads contacted, and new sales won
- Support Eurofins promoted marketing initiatives with sales team and follow-up on identified opportunities
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Make cold calls, as necessary

- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its auditing clients.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree in food related or business/sales discipline
- BS degree in food related or business/sales discipline (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff
- Detail oriented with documentation
- Self-motivated
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well under pressure and handles adverse situations
- Problem solving ability
