Job description

This is a full-time (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM) On-Site position that is located at our HQ office in
Columbus, Ohio.

Social Media Strategist

We are looking to bring on board a driven Social Media Specialist to assist our social media team in their
efforts to improve, increase, and promote the Surge branded social media platforms. They will have the
opportunity to promote Surge in various ways and learn how our digital footprint plays a big role in a
growing organization.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:
- Organize & Create Facebook Pages for our offices across the United States.
- Work with the marketing and creative teams to ensure all campaigns are seamlessly executed.
- Ensure that all platforms present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brand.
- Develop and create social media graphics for Surge's preferred platforms.
- Content planning for branch social media pages according to demand and availability.
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of digital and social campaigns.
- Promptly respond to customer and employee queries via social media channels.
- Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times across social media platforms and when
communicating internally.
- Familiarize yourself with new social media products and services as they are introduced.
- Respect client confidentiality at all times.

Experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer service is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field.
- Experience with Social Media Marketing (Meta Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media tools (Hootsuite,
SEMrush, etc.)

- Experience using chat/help desk software.
- Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Canva, or similar
design tools.
- The ability to respond appropriately under pressure.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task and work on various projects at once.
- Strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
