Position Title:
Forklift Driver
Pay Rate :
($24.69/hr.)
Sign on Bonus :
$500 after 30 days,
$500 after 6 months
Category/Shift :
Hourly Full-Time (2nd shift 3pm-11pm or 3rd shift 11pm-7am – Monday-Friday)
$0.25 cents shift differential for 2nd shift and $0.30 cent shift differential for 3rd shift
12 hour shift and/or weekends work required when needed for production goals.

We currently have an opening for a Shipping Fork Lift Operator at our Carrollton Facility. We are looking for a motivated individual who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.
This position is responsible for contributing to the day to day functions. The Operator will be able to recognize and correct or report any safety, quality or production issues utilizing the means and tools provided. This is a full hands-on position with limited supervision that requires initiative and a self-driven approach. It is the expectation to follow instructions and work constructively to insure shipment deadlines are met and unloading is conducted within the guidelines given. This position is responsible for following all safety procedures and having the courage to intervene when observing unsafe practices by co-workers.
This position is also responsible for a high level of quality, productivity and superior housekeeping. The operator will be in contact with the lead person, shipping department and with customer service. The operator needs to assure that loads are accurate and damage free. All incoming loads will have to be off loaded in a timely manner and put into the correct location.
The following qualifications are desired:
The qualifications for Forklift Drivers are the ability to meet the requirements of the job with or without accommodation; the ability to read, write, and speak English; the ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; the ability to use basic shop math; the ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team. A high school diploma (or GED) is required. One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required. Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred, but not required.
