The role
Provide L2 support to production systems like applications databases middleware components infrastructure and network components
Manage production incidents endtoend within defined SLAs focusing on resolution rather than who caused it.
ITIL/ITSM Principles and Practice
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Infrastructure (Unix Windows Mainframe) Administration
Network Architecture (Layer 1 to Layer 3)
Middleware & Runtime Environments (such as J2EE/.NET/etc)
Load balancers and application firewalls (WAFs)
Logging and Monitoring methods standards and tools
DevOps Concepts & Tooling
Resiliency High Availability & Business Continuity Planning/Management
Caching Concepts & Content Delivery Networks
Cloud Concepts Architecture and Platform as a Service (PaaS) Concepts
Advanced understanding of Role Based Access Controls (RBAC) and Access Management (SAML PA SSO Oauth)
SelfDriven (Execute necessary tasks/duties without instruction)
Strong analytical and critical thinking
Advanced knowledge of Internet architecture and project delivery
Intermediate knowledge of Network Troubleshooting
Foundational knowledge of cryptographic services (HSMs/Certificates)
