Job description
Sr. Hardware Product Manager
Lightmatter is redefining what computers and human beings are capable of by delivering a fundamentally new kind of computer that calculates using light. Transistors, the workhorse of modern computers, aren't improving at the rate they once were. To scale AI, companies are building increasingly large and energy-expensive data centers, a path that is neither financially nor environmentally sustainable.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for Passage and related products. In this capacity, you will work with the team to scale the product family for Passage and implement processes for product best practices. You will also engage with key customers to understand their pain points and support sales in closing future key customers and bringing Passage to product. You will continue to improve external messaging of Passage in a way that makes it easy for customers to engage with their next-generation technology.
We seek an innovative and experienced product leader with a track record for driving new product capabilities from concept to successful delivery and market leadership. This person will have a deep understanding of building and shaping world-class hardware products, combined with a strong operations mindset if you have a solid understanding of a unique set of end-users and practitioners running large workloads in data centers. If you have seen growth in early-stage and mature startup environments and know how to balance customer needs with technical requirements based on what is possible, this opportunity is for you!
This is a highly visible and cross-functional role, requiring regular communication with leadership and customers alike. You will have the opportunity to leverage your proven success in developing and executing go-to-market plans for hardware products and apply your strategic and analytical approach to a significant industry!
