This outstanding medical center is actively interviewing for a Emergency Department Nurse Coordinator to oversee organization and activities in a busy Trauma in the Denver Area. This is a terrific opportunity for a Emergency Services Staff RN to step into a leadership role and learn the ropes from a tenured and experienced Management team.

The Nurse Coordinator will help lead an Emergency Department team that directly contributes to the high-quality care that this hospital is known for and serves as one of the hospital’s first contacts with patients.

Reporting to the Emergency Room Nursing Manager, the ED Nurse Coordinator will play an integral role in this unit. Supported by a terrific team of PM / Night Shift Charge Nurses, the ED Coordinator will lead and work closely with Emergency Room RN Specialists, Emergency and Trauma Providers, and support staff.

The leadership team in this Emergency Department has an excellent reputation for promoting performance with Door to Doc Time improvement and fast triage in a unit that sees over 40k visits annually. The ED Nurse Coordinator will take on both operational and clinical responsibilities for an Emergency Services program that has earned Stroke Gold, is an Accredited Chest Pain and STEMI center, and a Trauma Center. For the right person, this will be a great opportunity to put their clinical and organizational skills to work, serving as the operations heart of the Emergency Department, and earning valuable leadership experience.

Among other things, the ED Coordinator’s primary duties will be:
