Job description

OBXtek is staffing for a Program Manager to support Veterans Affairs' Benefits Appeals and Memorials (BAM) Program Management Office .

 

Support includes IT program management and technical support for the BAM Portfolio. The Contractor shall perform and execute the tasks at various levels of support to include Portfolio, Product Lines, Programs, and Projects level. Major work areas include requirements management, implementation management, release management, schedule support, strategic analysis, capital planning and investment support, engineering and technical support, communications, and administrative support. 

 

Program Manager (PM) shall provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the project. The PM shall provide technical supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to support the project.

 

 

Education and Experience:

 

Program Manager must have the following qualifications:

• Active PMI PMP
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Management or related Technology field.
• At least ten years of experience managing a project or task order of similar size, scope, and complexity (approximately 100 people).

Have at least 5 years of experience supporting the VA in a management position. It is highly desired that the individual have experience within the current BAM PMO or extensive understanding of it.
