Job Summary:

This position is located at the new Bluemound Rehab Hospital working with neuro and spinal patients. Provides comprehensive therapeutic recreation services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting treatment programs. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the recreation therapist also participates in varied department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs within Rehabilitation Services. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Therapy is required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is required or obtained within 6 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
