SoBro Tower Company is a leading name in the construction and maintenance of wireless telecom. We are currently seeking an experienced Signing Supervising Electrician to join our dynamic team and lead our electrical operations.
The Supervising Electrician will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on our projects. This role involves leading a team of electricians, ensuring all electrical work is completed to the highest standards, and adhering to all safety and building regulations. We are growing rapidly so initially some self-performance will be required. As such, we are seeking a dedicated General Supervising Electrician to join our team. This role will begin as a hybrid (site-to-site) role and will eventually allow you to work out of the office. An active Oregon General Supervising Electrician License is a must along with a master in Washington, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: - Lead and manage the electrical team, ensuring compliance with all codes and proper licensing.
- Oversee project execution, including timelines, budgets, and resource management.
- Plan and design electrical systems, ensuring integration with architectural designs and adherence to high-rise construction standards.
- Promote safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team, emphasizing sustainable practices.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, develop maintenance plans, and coordinate inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Train and mentor electricians and apprentices, fostering professional development.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, managing project coordination and stakeholder relations effectively.
- Act as a subject matter expert, handling permits, inspections, and representation to regulatory bodies.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: - Required: Current Oregon Supervising Electrician License; additional licenses in Washington (Required) or other states preferred.
- At least 5 years of electrical construction experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office, with strong computer skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and NEC/Oregon regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experienced in project management, from interpreting plans to overseeing material and equipment use.
- Responsible for apprentice training and development, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Team player with a proven track record of collaborative success.
