Job description

CVP is seeking Technical Refresh Technicians to join our growing team. The Technical Refresh Technicians are r esponsible for refresh efforts and desktop/laptop imaging. Basic remote tickets when not assigned a refresh/image/deployment . Technicians will perform a variety of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software using knowledge in all aspects of computer design, functionality, system operation, and infrastructure . Desktop Technicians will be handling moving equipment between sites, imaging, refreshes, data migrations, etc. Could include some break/fix work. Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility. Imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment and refresh according to MS Project refresh schedule. Strong customer service focus  

• Provide exceptional customer service while working in a fast-paced environment  
• Complete multiple refreshes daily with strong attention to detail  
• Document actions and solutions performed with client in ticketing system  
• Stage equipment at user locations  
• Backup and restore all local user profile(s) data and local settings  
• De-install legacy equipment  
• Install new equipment and verify connectivity and functionality  
• Verify that asset tag, serial number, username, and location data match plan  
• Validate customer logon and use their new asset  
• Provide basic troubleshooting support  
• Support removal of assets  
• Other duties as assigned related to Technology Refresh  

• BS/BA with 4 years of experience  
• Experience installing software on laptop and/or desktop computers (Windows/MAC) 
• K nowledge of workstation hardware  
• Experience installing software on laptop and/or desktop computers  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint etc.) 
• Must be able to move/handle equipment up to 40 pounds  
• ITIL Foundations (or ability to obtain ITIL Foundations certification within 3 months of joining ) 
• Experience with ServiceNow  
• 4 Years experience with Windows and/or MAC troubleshooting  
• 4 Years experience with mobile device troubleshooting with iPhone, iPad, and Android  

Desired Qualifications  

• Desired Certifications: CompTIA A+; Microsoft Certifications; Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP); HDI-DSM; HDI-SCTL; HDI-SCM; Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or other industry-recognized certifications  
• Federal customer experience supporting HHS, preferably NIH desired
