Job Description:
The IT Project Manager (IT PM) will work with IT and business stakeholders to define technical requirements for the 3rd party Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) software solution and will facilitate the delivery and implementation of needed infrastructure and services.
The IT PM will:
Coordinate and manage relationships with software vendors to ensure they meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products/services on time.
Act as liaison across business and IT stakeholders to refine the software subscription agreement, including the identification of desired licensing and implementation services terms and conditions.
Coordinate business-focused requirements definition workshops being conducted by the software vendor.
Facilitate the development of a Statement of Work for Implementation Services by the Software Vendor. Support the negotiation of commercial terms and pricing for the Software Vendor's implementation services.
Oversee the design and implementation of new IT infrastructure. This includes hardware, software systems, networks, printers, and servers.
Lead stakeholder workshops to capture non-functional requirements, including the definition of IT infrastructure necessary to support 3rd party software solutions and internal solutions such as integration environments.
Coordinate cyber reviews of proposed infrastructure designs.
Facilitate the identification of an enduring IT support model for the ETRM solution.
Coordinate and manage relationships with software vendors to ensure they meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products/services on time.
Facilitate the proposal evaluation process for Systems Integrator services.
Coordinate Cyber and Enterprise Architecture reviews of selected Systems Integrator.
Act as liaison across business and IT stakeholders to identify desired implementation services terms and conditions with the selected Systems Integrator.
Facilitate the development of a Statement of Work for the Systems Integrator's Implementation Services. Support the negotiation of commercial terms and pricing for the Systems Integrator's implementation services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in managing vendor relationships and a comprehensive understanding of contract details.
Experience establishing maintenance and support models for 3rd party software.
A track record of successfully managing and implementing IT infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey project status and issues to stakeholders.
Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies is a plus.
Strong knowledge of MS products - Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint
