Job description
Envision Physician Services is seeking Ultrasound Director/Emergency Medicine Core Faculty to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital , in collaboration with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Must be Ultrasound Fellowship Trained.
Qualified candidates must be BC/BP in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) and having completed a fellowship in Ultrasound. Core Faculty will participate in the clinical and educational programs that will shape the emergency medicine residency program. HCA Florida Brandon Hospital's residency programs include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Pharmacy, Surgical and Transitional Year. Responsibilities may include organizing and implementing the didactic & simulation curriculum, overseeing didactic evaluation, and managing resident education requirements. The residency leadership values modern adult learning techniques such as flipped classroom approaches, small group learning, gamification, and frequent simulation workshops.
The compensation package is very attractive and includes a generous stipend and protected time for academic duties, with protected time in addition to a competitive clinical rate. The completed project includes 40 new exam rooms, including areas for express care, pediatrics and behavioral health.
