Description
SAIC is searching for a Digital Synthetic Range (DSR) Lead Engineer. The desired candidate will lead teams to develop AFSIM an FLITES scenarios for the testing and development of autonomy algorithms. These scenarios will require 3D backgrounds, targets, and other models to provide imagery for use by computer vision and autonomy algorithms. The candidate will work with the government and their team to define, document, and develop test cases for the DSR capability. This will include coordination with real fight tests of existing systems. This role will provide onsite support at Eglin AFB.
Qualifications
- Masters or PHD in engineering, computer science or physics
- 15 or more years’ experience in leading teams to research, develop, test, and evaluate sensor technologies and systems
- Five or more years’ experience with advanced sensors, M&S analysis, exploitation, and target signature modeling for real-time Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) simulator use
- Five or more years’ experience with Fast Line-of-Sight Imagery for Target and Exhaust-plume Signatures (FLITES), scene generation, and high-fidelity digital simulations
- Effective communication skills and ability to lead a team
- Guide team to produce results for objectives on schedule and budget
- Ability to write proposals, reports and presentations related to tasking
- Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
