Schedule: Per Diem, need to be available at least 4 shifts in a month. Schedule may be any day of the week including weekends. May float to campus of Castle Rock as well when needed.
Shift : Days/Evenings/Nights based on unit needs with coverage.
Location : 9395 Crown Crest Blvd, Parker Colorado 80138 as well as 2350 Meadows Blvd, Castle Rock Colorado 80109
The community you’ll be caring for:
AdventHealth Parker is a Level II Trauma Center that serves our community by providing excellent, community-focused health care. Since we opened our doors in 2004, we have grown into a regional medical center. In 2017, we received the designation of a Magnet Recognized Hospital. In 2018, we became one of the only five hospitals in the nation, and the only hospital in Colorado, to receive Joint Commission Certification for Bariatrics. We have 170 Licensed beds, 23 Emergency Department private rooms, and 13 surgical suites.
The role you'll contribute:
Performs electroencephalograph (EEG) testing.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.
Performs prescribed testing. Reviews patient’s history and educates patient about procedure.
Monitors and documents patient’s condition and responds to and reports and adverse reactions.
Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
Scores/graphs, analyses, documents, and reports results of diagnostic procedures.
On call requirement per department policy.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
Successful completion of EEG registry within 2 years of hire date.
Preferred:
Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient.
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
Associate’s degree
