Description
Well-respected, family-owned company is looking to staff a thorough Bookkeeper with real estate industry expertise. In this Bookkeeper role, you will assist with accounts receivable/payable, account reconciliation, journal entries, vendor management, job costing, credit card allocations, account analysis, and general accounting activities. The ideal individual will keep the company aligned with compliance by following general accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
· Enter and process accounts payable/receivable
· Maintain general ledger
· Prepare bank reconciliations/bank deposits
· Record cash receipts/tenant payments
· Maintain internal file/record keeping system
· Post journal entries
· Assist with property coding
· Bank Reconciliations
· Build strong vendor relationships
· Spreadsheet Maintenance
· Light office support
RequirementsThe ideal Bookkeeper will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Bookkeeper role include and are not limited to:
· 5+ years Bookkeeping experience
· Adequate Excel skills
· Real Estate experience is a plus but not required
· Strong organizational skills
