Job description
Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Branch Manager II to join their team. Supervises staff operations, sets branch goals, manages personnel performance, ensures consistent quality service, optimizes resource allocation, and promotes account penetration for enhanced member satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and those enforced by the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Recruit, supervise, train, and enhance the performance of all branch staff to achieve sales, investment broker referrals, and quality service objectives.
Directly responsible for the planning and organizing of daily branch operations, training and supervising all branch personnel, and the development and communication of longer-range branch service goals.
Expand the branch's market share by cultivating and strengthening member relationships, implementing programs for acquiring new business, and instructing staff on cross-servicing techniques and objection resolution.
Oversee branch lending activities to meet quality and production goals, serving as the senior lending authority within the branch.
Support Marketing initiatives to foster and broaden SEG relationships within the branch's geographic area.
Analyze workflow to identify areas for improvement, re-evaluation, or automation, and determine optimal staffing levels and work schedules.
Ensure adherence to proper cash control procedures, maintain sufficient cash levels, and uphold security safeguards at all times.
Optimize the performance of branch ATMs by overseeing proper maintenance, efficient deposit balancing, and swift cash replenishment processes.
Deliver services aligned with the Credit Union's mission to passionately provide relevant products, services, and education tailored to assist members, employees, and communities in achieving their financial goals.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years in managerial or five years in supervisory roles within a financial institution, a preferred degree in Business or a related discipline, and excellent interpersonal, and motivational.
Communication skills, independent operational proficiency in loans, new accounts, and member services, and at least three years of experience as a loan officer.
Knowledge of credit fundamentals, effective cross-selling abilities, organizational prowess in high-volume environments, strong leadership skills, and flexibility in utilizing internal and external training resources.
Proficiency in PC operations with Windows-based programs, fluency in Spanish as a plus, and a willingness to provide staffing support to other departments/branches on an as-needed basis, with occasional travel expectations.
