The Location: London, Houston, Singapore


The Team:
We are seeking an experienced, customer-centric and collaborative Product Management Director to join the Market Reporting & Trading Solutions (MRTS) product team, part of the Commodity Insights division of S&P Global. MRTS is the largest provider of Pricing and News for commodities globally. This role manages the full product lifecycle of the Emerging Benchmark portfolio, driving the growth and expansion by owning and executing the product strategy and roadmap for this portfolio. The role reports in the Head of Product of MRTS.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the voice of the customer across the business and be passionate about delighting customers via strong value propositions and customer experience.
Act as a product champion to ensure that key objectives are prioritized in alignment with the company strategy and in support of priorities set by the leadership team
Develop and maintain a product strategy for your product portfolio based on researching market trends and opportunities, needs of prospective and current customers, as well as how customers use the current products and competitor products.
Develop clear and customer-centric roadmaps, and lead the execution of new product developments, enhancements and data transformation with technical teams and subject matter experts
Ensure organizational alignment around execution of the roadmap and go-to-market with Commercial, Marketing, Content, Research, Technology, Finance and other internal stakeholders within the S&P Global business in a highly matrixed environment
Monitors and influences financial targets and goals for newly launched products in collaboration with the commercial organization
Lead a small team of product managers


What we’re looking for:
Experience in product management in the B2B information services industry, with strong business acumen and analytical skills
Ability to develop vision and strategy, while also keeping “hands on” with execution of product development, positioning and go-to-market activity.
Team player, natural at managing cross-functional, global project teams towards successful outcomes, with positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate.
Confident working with developers, marketers, and content teams to achieve outcomes in a matrixed environment with high organizational skills and attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas effectively, strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex commodity concepts in simple terms
Knowledge of the commodity product ecosystem, especially for Energy transition, Agriculture, Chemicals Markets or Shipping strongly desired.


Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $107 250 to $230 000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
