Job description
Removing molded parts from the Blow Molding machine, operate the trim press, assembly fixtures, and/or finishing parts in a safe manner to efficiently produce quality and cost-effective parts for our customers. There parts/pieces must adhere to a specified set of blueprints.
Objectives:
- Operate complex machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Meet production fulfillment needs of internal and external customers
- Maintain high standards of company procedures and codes of conducts
- Uphold a manufacturing process that is safe, efficient, and sanitary
- Verify functionality of safety features prior to machine operation
- Follow production instructions, whether written or verbal
- Set up and perform minor calibrations of machinery, as needed
- Operate machinery in a consistent safe manner
- Perform instructions of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production
- Maintain high quality of machine-produced outputs
- Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to team lead and/or supervisor
- Completing production and quality forms
- Maintains inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels, placing and tracing orders, and verifying receipt of supplies
- Cleans and maintains work area, equipment, and tools
- Training employees as directed by Supervisors
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 3 months of relevant manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- High School diploma or GED
