Job description

The company is seeking a dynamic candidate to take on a pivotal role in strategic planning and execution within our procurement domain. The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring a smooth flow of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to meet our organization's demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities include utilizing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to track and update materials, negotiating and executing purchases, and collaborating closely with vendors to secure necessary materials and finished products. The ability to coordinate material schedules is crucial, aligning them with production needs, and actively managing relationships with vendors for seamless transactions.

In this role, independent decision-making in procurement matters, interpretation of contract provisions, and obtaining competitive price quotes from vendors are essential. Attention to detail is a priority, involving thorough review of orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policies and procedures.

The candidate should excel in maintaining organized product information files and purchase order records, demonstrating proficiency in using computerized systems to prepare and place purchase orders efficiently. Vendor evaluation, including interviews to assess products and supplier capabilities, is a routine aspect of this position.

Proactivity is highly encouraged, and the candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining vendor agreements, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Adaptability is crucial as the candidate will be ready to take on additional duties as assigned, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.

Qualifications
1. Relevant Experience: Possess 2-5 years of hands-on experience directly related to the role, demonstrating a proven track record in purchasing food supplies, materials, equipment, and services.

2. Buying Expertise: Showcase 3-5 years of expertise specifically in buying food supplies, materials, equipment, and services, emphasizing a depth of knowledge and practical skills in procurement.

3. Educational Background: Hold a minimum of 3 plus years of experience in purchasing, complemented by a strong educational foundation, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices essential to theĀ
